I am invited to cover 2011 Legends of Kung Fu in Dallas. Since I am in hotel and did not feel like going to the parking lot practicing - I did a lot of that before, so I practiced in the room. I spent 12 minutes just doing silk reeling which was about 100 repetitions. I sweat and felt calm and refreshened. In the past year, I focused more on the forms and did not practice silk reeling much. Well, it is time for me to go back to basics.
What’s silk reeling? I practice Wu style tai chi and Qigong each week. I just reached the end of the square form. Is it something unique to an other style?
